Today, the Los Adias Foundation is dedicated to preserving and restoring the Methodist Church of Robeline.

The Old Methodist Church, located on Texas Street (Louisiana Highway 6), is one of the community’s most treasured historic landmarks.

The Man in the Moon is an American coming-of-age drama, Reese Witherspoon’s film debut, and director Robert Mulligan’s final film.

Robeline’s identity is uniquely connected to its origins as the site of Los Adias, the first capital of the Spanish province of Texas.

In 1972, the Los Adaes Foundation of Robeline, Inc. was established with the mission of preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Los Adias region.

El Camino Real de los Tejas—known as the “Royal Road of the Tejas Indians”—was a vital travel corridor linking Mexico City to the Spanish outpost of Los Adias near present-day Robeline, Louisiana.
